562 international buyers met & closed deals with exhibitors

FOODTECH 2023 managed to attract a significant number of international buyers, who participated in b2b meetings with the exhibitors, found new suppliers and created new business partnerships.

The companies that participated as exhibitors had the opportunity to meet in person with 562 international buyers – among them a significant number of buyers who visited the exhibition through the Hosted Buyers program – and to expand their business activities outside the Greek borders, to develop new clientele and make business contacts that will help them penetrate foreign markets.

FOODTECH 2023 welcomed these important buyers from abroad, and gave them the opportunity to discover innovative technological equipment for the production, processing, storage and handling of their products, with the aim of improving the production line of their business and starting many new constructive partnerships.

It is worth noting that the international buyers who visited the exhibition are decision makers, i.e. owners and executives (Factory Managers, Production Engineers, Quality Control Managers, R&D managers, Logistics managers, Procurement Managers, etc.) from countries with productive businesses and units with greater specialization in the field of food and beverage production and processing and thus greater and more specific needs for equipment, technologies and services presented by the FOODTECH exhibitors. Specifically, the international buyers came from countries all over the world, such as: Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, S. Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Lebanon, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, North Macedonia, Serbia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Poland.
