The 2nd FOODTECH to be held on 13-16 November 2021 under safe conditions

After its first successful –in terms of both visitors and commercial effectiveness– iteration, the largest trade show in Greece for Technology and Equipment regarding the F&B sector, is back in safe dates & under safe conditions.

As Greece seems to be achieving its targets set for COVID-19 immunization until the end of May, the right conditions are created for the safe and successful organization of FOODTECH on November 13-16, 2021.

At the same time, the fact that —as demonstrated over the last year— the market really needs exhibitions, which still are the most significant trade mechanisms, leads us to start organizing FOODTECH with even greater energy and, as always, in accordance with the standards laid down for the protection of everyone’s health. From November 13-16, 2021, the trade show/point of reference for the F&B production technologies, processing, packaging, storage and distribution, will be the focal point for all decision makers in the industry. For four days, the visitors will meet Greek and international exhibitors under the same roof, they will have the opportunity to discover in person new and innovative products from up close, discuss the real needs of their business, get in touch with the exhibitors and close direct business agreements.

Τhe present and future of the F&B Industry will be presented at FOODTECH 2021

The Greek Food and Beverage Industry, the largest processing industry in our country, which covers almost 28% of all companies, during the difficult post covid period has shown and continues to show adaptability and responds to new market data aiming to consolidate its position within the borders but also to continue its development in large distribution networks abroad. In the post covid era, companies in the food and beverage industry are constantly experimenting and adapting new technologies for the production of high nutritional value products and according all the new healthy standards. FOODTECH 2021 will give all the answers to all new industry’s needs.

The visitors will have the opportunity to discover up-to-date cutting-edge technologies and automations for low-cost production operation in a completely safe environment, while ensuring high quality of the final product. They will also get in touch with representatives of companies that have a leading role in the transformation and technological development of the food & beverage industry, but they will discover innovative solutions for design, marketing, sustainability and successful R&D in the packaging sector.

The interest of the visitors will be increased and for this reason the organizing company will send 25,000 personal barcoded invitations via mail to targeted professionals from the industry.

The COVID-19 pandemic also poses challenges to the way industries are organized and operate, affecting key supply chain and production processes. FOODTECH exhibitors will present and highlight all state-of-the-art technologies and digital transformation solutions in order to ensure the smooth operation of the industry’s companies and the competitive advantage on their part.

The sector fully supports the trade show

The fact that from the very first event the trade fair received the seal of approval from 200 leading supply companies not only from Greece but from the rest of the world as well, and was visited by a total of 18,000 executives from 10,000 businesses in the F&B industry, shows its great potential and dynamics. In addition, it proves how much the Greek industry needed it and that it is a trade show that is obviously here to stay, while contributing to the further development of the food and beverage industry in the country.

This is further confirmed by the excellent results of the 2019 visitor survey, with 90% stating they are completely satisfied with their visit, and 93% that they are willing to visit the 2nd iteration of FOODTECH.

Therefore, all the signs indicate that the 2nd FOODTECH will once again be the center of commercial developments in the industry, as well as the ultimate meeting point for sector decision makers.

FOODTECH 2021 will take place at the same time as the ARTOZA 2021 trade show. As a result, industry entrepreneurs will have the opportunity with just a single visit to see up close in HALLS 3 and 4 one of the most influential and specialized trade shows in Greece and one of the most internationally-renowned of its kind, that fully caters to the needs of professionals and entrepreneurs in Raw Materials, Equipment, Machinery and Services for the Bakery, Confectionery, Ice Cream, and Chocolate sectors.
