Challenges and Technology at the Forefront on Day 3

The third day of FOODTECH 2025 concluded with a strong focus on sustainable development, energy innovation, and transformative technologies for the agri-food supply chain—reaffirming the exhibition’s role as a catalyst for the green transition of the Food & Beverage industry.

From early morning, the Metropolitan Expo welcomed a wide range of professionals—entrepreneurs, food technologists, industry representatives, and institutional bodies—seeking cutting-edge solutions to boost productivity and reduce environmental impact. Meetings with suppliers led to new strategic partnerships aimed at upgrading production units and strengthening the circular economy.

Throughout the day, the heartbeat of entrepreneurship pulsed strongly across the exhibition, as top market players met their ideal future collaborators. In an environment full of energy, vision, and strategic thinking, new business relationships were forged, promising to reshape the commercial landscape and drive economic growth.

Through the well-organized Hosted Buyers Program, which attracted 200 key international buyers, and targeted one-on-one meetings between exhibitors and executives from Greece’s emerging food and beverage industry, agreements with real potential were sealed. Every conversation, every handshake, was a step toward a future rich in collaboration, innovation, and global outreach.

At the F&B NEXT-GEN Stage in Hall 2, standout topics included the challenges and opportunities in the olive oil sector, as well as innovative technological developments in meat processing. Presentations highlighted the possibilities of sustainable production and the responsible use of natural resources.

Visitors had the opportunity to discover innovative products and technologies that enhance food safety and quality. Discussions with exhibitors revealed the real needs of the market and the solutions capable of meeting them, strengthening participants’ business strategies.

Day three of FOODTECH 2025 proved that innovation and technological advancement are key pillars for the sector’s evolution. Participants gained valuable insights, expanded their professional networks, and found inspiration for the future of the industry. Tomorrow, Monday, marks the final day of the exhibition, expected to be equally dynamic with new presentations, networking opportunities, and commercial agreements.
