The HALOPACK® System is a many year tested, complete packaging solution offered by a network of partners around the world, the thirteenth and most recent member of which is Kapelis Packaging. The ultimate paper utensil, baring a gas barrier coating without additives and glue, suitable for cooling, freezing, microwave reheating and –under conditions- ovenable in a conventional oven with air, together with the corresponding Halopack sealing film, compose the packaging System of the future, friendly to the environment and at the same time essential for the food’s shelf life. Halopack System‘s innovation is based on the combination of ecological consciousness, by achieving up to 90% less plastic per package and by the easy separation of the coating film from the paper after use, allowing the separate collection of the two parts for recycling, the victory in the “battle of the shelf “, with impressive printing on any surface of the utensil upon order, and at the same time extending the shelf life of the product due to packaging under a modified gas atmosphere.
For guaranteed sealing results, the ideal solution is to use a semi-automatic or fully automatic Reepack tray sealer. Reepack is an internationally renowned packaging machine manufacturer, whose exclusive representatives in Greece are also Kapelis Packaging. Most Reepack sealing machines are fully electronic, taking advantage against their pneumatic counterparts, and are capable of a flawless and consistently quality seal outcome under modified atmosphere (MAP) and Skin. Finally, it is very important to be able to make both MAP and Skinpack packaging using the same machine, just changing the “mold” (sealing head and utensil insert) at will. Reepack offers this, too.
