Commercial outcome & networking opportunities for exhibitors

The possibility to build new commercial relationships but also to present their products to a wide and specialized professional audience, which resulted in significant commercial outcome, dominated the exhibitors’ responses, during a survey.

According to a survey carried out by ALCO company, in a sample of 110 exhibitors, after the conclusion of the exhibition, FOODTECH 2023 was the ideal platform for the exhibitors to present their products & services to thousands of targeted professionals from all sectors of the industry -due to the co-organization with GLOBAL PACK-, to strengthen their existing collaborations but also to “build” new strategic commercial relations.

The representatives of the exhibitors who took part in the survey were Owners, General Managers, Production Managers, Commercial Directors and declared satisfied by their participation as they had the opportunity to hold very essential b2b meetings during the three days of the exhibition, which resulted in either the sealing of direct collaborations or the renewal of appointments for final discussions immediately after the end of the exhibition.

Specifically, 80% answered that they were satisfied with the number of visitors and 90% with their professional profile. Analyzing the reasons why they decided to participate in the exhibition, the executives of the exhibitors typically answered that 44% wanted to develop their clientele, 24% to strengthen their company’s brand, 10% to present their new products and 10% to strengthen existing partnerships.

Participation with significant commercial outcome

86% of exhibitors declared satisfied by their participation and 82% stated that they will also participate in the organization of 2025. The fact that, based on the survey, 59% of exhibitors consider that their commercial objectives were very and sufficiently met. Very important findings regarding the commercial effectiveness of the exhibition are also the following: 66% of exhibitors closed deals with visitors during the exhibition while 87% estimate that they will close deals during the next 6 months. Also, 67% participated in b2b meetings with the hosted buyers.
