A dynamic start for FOODTECH 2021

With 120 exhibitors, a dynamic B2B meeting schedule with 200 targeted hosted buyers, six major thematics, and workshops by market experts, FOODTECH 2021 ended its first day with great success. Business owners, factory managers, production engineers, quality control managers, R&D managers, logistics managers, procurement managers, etc. attended the events since early in the morning, confirming the expectations that FOODTECH will be the meeting point and investment options hub for owners and specialized executives of all productive and commercial F&B businesses, under Covid Free conditions.
Opening ceremony in an atmosphere of enthusiasm
The official opening of FOODTECH 2021 was held with great success and in an atmosphere of enthusiasm by the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Spilios Livanos, at the METROPOLITAN EXPO exhibition center, on Friday, October 12, at 12:00, with the presence of the Food and Beverage Industry.

Innovation, inspiration and information were the focus of the educational – informational presentations that were held on the 1st day of the exhibition during the Workshops & Seminars event at Hall 1.
Meat Lab: Techniques & solutions for the modern butcher
Slicing, processing, presenting and skillful cooking, digital tools in food safety, meat and technology and challenges for the future, exotic meats and other interesting presentations stole the show at Hall 1’s Meat Lab stage.
